The prompts we were given included bridging the human element with AI for an exciting new start-up (with serious backing) that specialises in AI consultancy and coaching to help AI early-adopters to bring AI into their organisation.

Right from our initial kick-off meeting we knew that AIUK were all about empowerment. Their mission to demystify artificial intelligence and to make AI a seamless and accessible tool that can amplify the human ingenuity behind their client’s company helped guide us.

Our approach was to include AI in our process. Using it to amplify our human ingenuity.

The biggest challenge faced was unearthing AI-UK’s differentiating qualities and communicating that through their brand and the flow of their website. Looking at their UX to give a logical yet exciting experience at a time when a lot of AI companies are vying for attention.

This is how we did it.

How to be different now, in 12 months, and in 5 years

From the outset, the challenge we set ourselves was to forge a brand identity and website that could endure in an industry experiencing rapid growth and change. There’s an exponential growth trajectory within the sector. This anticipated surge in AI adoption is good for an AI consultancy and coaching business but also looks to a future where differentiation within the market will be increasingly challenging.

Nearly 80% of AI companies surveyed by Forbes indicated similarity in brand positioning and messaging, emphasising the urgency for a distinct and forward-thinking brand approach.

Our ethos is only to build brands and support companies with longevity and distinction in mind.

The answer lay in the area between meeting expectations – a reassuringly slick visual brand, for example – and unique, human touches that displayed personality. This was after all going to be coaching on AI human-to-human.

Fusing unique design principles with flexible AI craft

In crafting the brand identity for AIUK, our approach transcended conventional methods by embracing the dynamic nature of AI itself.

We aimed to weave a narrative of innovation and adaptability.

Leveraging AI-generated imagery, our team embarked on a journey to craft a distinctive visual language that resonated with the company’s ethos.

Central to this strategy was the incorporation of auto-generated imagery on the website hero, setting the tone for a forward-thinking brand.

Embracing abstract AI-generated visuals allowed us to infuse flexibility into the brand, and with the other visual brand principles created, ensured that any imagery produced, regardless of the creator or method, seamlessly integrated into AIUK’s distinct visual identity.

Grounded in a robust set of principles, our brand strategy ensures consistency and coherence, enabling the brand to evolve while maintaining its unique and recognisable essence.

Redefining the Human Connection Through Web Design

Behind AIUK’s intricate knowledge of AI-related business solutions resides a fundamental truth: its essence is deeply human.

Through our web design, we aimed to forge an emotional connection between the brand and its audience. Understanding that every digital encounter is a step in the customer journey, we strived to create an immersive, human experience for every visitor.

Meticulously crafting each element, from intuitive navigation to empathetic storytelling and strategically placed visuals, we facilitate a seamless customer journey. Websites with a well-defined customer journey experience a 70% increase in conversion rates (Adobe research), and that’s why it’s top of our list. A great website ‘converts’.
